About

Rogene Baxter, Bridgewater Group LLC

When, in 1986, Rogene founded Bridgewater Group. Her vision was twofold:

1)  To establish a consulting firm to bring out the best in people at work — namely those who would unleash a new-found enthusiasm for their work and who would actively participate in making the organization successful.

2)  To design learning systems for creating long-term results that would impact the company’s operations and meet business goals.  This would be a very different approach from traditional training models, which too often had been implemented as a band-aid or “quick fix” to a problem.

How did Rogene’s vision play out? Her work brought increased organizational capacity and talent retention to companies across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. She works collaboratively with client consultants and managers, to align their business goals and strategies, performance needs, professional development and performance support. Her consulting services and learning initiatives strengthen the way people work together, as they implement strategies in pursuit of organizational success.

Rogene discovered Inscape Publishing and DiSC® self-assessment tools 25 years ago as she finished her graduate program and launched Bridgewater Group LLC. We have used these self-assessment tools with clients ever since.  “More Than A Store”  is a new service to share these and other training resources with you. Good information is not enough unless it is applied to improve communication, the way we work with others, how we build successful businesses, and yes, even the way we interact with our family and friends. A part of this new service is DiSC coaching  to help you help others learn the “power of DiSC”!

Rogene is well known for her conference presentations. Her speaking engagements include international conferences of the American Society of Training and Development and the International Society for Performance and Instruction.

As an adjunct faculty member she has taught classes at John F. Kennedy University, Master of Business Administration and Career Development Master programs, and has lectured at the University of California Extension, Berkeley.

Rogene has served as President and Chair of the Board of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC USA) Northern California Chapter. She has served on the following Boards: President of the Golden Gate Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development,  the California Career Development Association, the Contact Care Center and the Board of Trustees of Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church Foundation.

A Registered Nurse, Ms. Baxter holds a BA in Behavioral Science and an MA in Career Development. She is a recipient of the prestigious “Alumna of the Year” award by John F. Kennedy University School of Business Administration.

The CMC® (Certified Management Consultant) mark is awarded to consultants who meet strict standards of the Institute of Management Consultants USA (an ISO/IEC 17024:2003 Certifying Body) and is the standard of excellence, competence, and ethics in consulting. Less than 1% of all consultants have attained this level of professional achievement.
